這款 30×42 公分的茶盤來自福建武夷山市郊區的一家家族工坊,詹氏家族四代以竹為業。在 2024 年春季的尋源之旅中,我與師傅共度三天,看他挑選四年生的毛竹 — 竹壁厚實、紋理筆直、天生韌性十足。竹子於冬季汁液下降後砍伐,再自然風乾六個月,方始動刀。

茶盤主體為一體式底板,雕刻出微微傾向排水口的坡度;鏤空上蓋採摩擦嵌合,無需膠水,可隨時提起清理。每處邊緣皆手工倒角 — 絕無銳角,不會勾到衣袖或茶巾。漆料選用簡樸的食品級生漆,薄塗三層,每層均以稻殼墊打磨拋光。

Michael 挑選這個尺寸,正是著眼其日常實用性。它能從容擺放一只 150 毫升蓋碗、公道杯及兩只品茗杯,卻可輕鬆收納於淺架上。由於每件茶盤皆為小批量製作,木色紋理與竹條寬度會有些微差異 — 此乃手作痕跡,而非瑕疵。
