從丁蜀的工作室到你的功夫茶盤

Michael Zhan 在一個潮濕的三月早晨抵達丁蜀。小鎮狹窄的巷子裡瀰漫著濕泥與木炭的氣味——那種告訴你此處正在進行真正工藝的氣味。他前來拜訪一位壺匠的小工作坊,這位壺匠的 duànní 作品在當地茶師之間早已默默累積名聲。任務很簡單:找到一把日用壺——無需華麗,不必脆弱,但能讓綠茶與黃茶的滋味清晰展現。前五批作品都沒過關。壺嘴的水流歪斜,壺蓋在不該緊的地方卡得太緊,而一把原本很美的 duànní 壺卻有隱藏的髮絲裂痕。然後壺匠拿出了這把 fǎng gǔ。Michael 以水測試:水流弧線乾淨俐落,壺身傾斜時壺蓋依然穩固,握在手中平衡感毫不費力。他泡了一壺淡雅的 Lóng Jǐng,接著又泡了 Huáng Tāng 黃茶。兩款茶都展現出他難得一遇的純淨——沒有濁感,沒有泥味,只有茶。這把壺的 duànní 泥料來自丁蜀附近的小礦床,燒成溫度夠高,不易吸附香氣,卻又夠柔軟,足以讓細膩的滋味綻放。Michael 當場談妥了這批貨,到了六月,這些壺已經在我們的倉庫裡等待,仍帶著淡淡的宜興泥土氣息。每一把壺在上架前都經過再次手工檢查——出水、壺蓋、聲響。這是一件安靜的作品,為悠緩的午後與值得被傾聽的茶而生。
