2024年4月，在云南省永德县采购春茶批量期间，Michael Zhan偶然发现了一间由老匠人 Lao Yu 经营的小型竹作坊。在堆栈的竹蒸笼和茶盘间，一个沙漏原型吸引了 Michael 的目光——这个沙漏由mao zhu（当地用于茶叶包装的密实山竹）的边角料制成，四个沙柱是手工蚀刻的，玻璃安瓿则是从旧实验室用品中回收的。Michael 立刻意识到了它的潜力：这正是每位功夫茶爱好者渴望的静谧伴侣。
在随后的第三次拜访中，Michael 与 Lao Yu 合作，改进了设计。他们测试了数十种砂——河沙、沙漠沙、碎矿物颗粒——最终选定了一种来自潮州的单一产地石英砂，因其粒径均匀且几乎无摩擦的流动而闻名。竹框被修薄，底座加重到足以防止倾倒，间隔重新校准以匹配乌龙茶和普洱茶的冲泡节奏：15、30、45 和 60 秒。
每个静竹沙漏计时器仍由 Lao Yu 的工作室手工组装，竹材用食品安全级蜡打磨，砂密封于细长的硼硅玻璃管内。其成果是一款只为您的茶空间增添静谧的工具。无需电池、无滴答声——只有沙落如视觉咒语。

The bamboo frame holds a carefully calibrated glass ampoule of fine quartz sand. The sand is darker than desert sand, almost grey, chosen for its smooth, even flow.
wet leaf
When flipped, the sand falls without a sound — only the subtle shift of weight felt in the hand. The bamboo exterior remains cool and dry.
liquor
You observe the sand glide down in a slim column, marking time in 15-second increments. The bamboo grain reflects the light like a quiet meditation cushion.
aroma
